When And Why Did You Start Bodybuilding ?

I was a chubby kid growing up, I got picked on a bit so I started playing Australian rules football. My step dad had a 7kg dumbbell at home, I started playing around with it, trying to do dumbbell curls. My arms got sore and I saw them shape up, people started to notice. I then bought my first set of weights consisting of a bench, barbell and dumbbells. I started benching and curling 3 times per week. I didn’t have a clue about how to train or eat. People were starting to comment on my body, few months later I started going to the gym 3 times per week. I met a some people at the gym at the gym who taught me a couple exercises. Few months later I bought my first tub of protein and it had a diet booklet. I started the mass diet and noticed rapid gains. I was getting comments constantly, from then on I was hooked.

 
Why Do You Love Bodybuilding/Fitness

Bodybuilding is one of the hardest sports out there. It’s individual, you don’t have to rely on team mates. Everything is in your hands, what you do and dont do is up to you. The feeling of looking better than the average joe, getting noticed because your different and feeling great about your self are few of many reasons why I love bodybuilding.

 
Training Principles

I’m currently on a 3 day on, one day off routine. I hit Chest and Back, Legs, Shoulders and Arms, then repeat. I Really like hitting each body part twice in 8 days, I am always getting stronger (PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD IS THE KEY !)

5g Creatine

4oz 95% Mince beef
2 Cups asparagus
1 Cup of brown rice

1 Cup brown rice

4oz Chicken
2 Cups broccoli
Half cup brown rice

70g Oats
2 Scoops whey
22 Almonds

Meal 7
2 Scoops whey
2 Tablespoons peanut butter

 
What are Your Hopes For The Future?

I would love to go pro one day, it has always been my goal. For now I would love to place 1st in my next junior competition, be the best I can be and motivate others  to achieve their goals.
